I'd say this is definitely a red flag. One of the things to look out for in a partner is to see how they treat the people working under them, especially people who are paid to be nice to you and this tells you a lot about their character, regardless of gender. So unless his anger was one of those heat of the moment things and he apologized to the waiter later on, I'd say you need to dump the guy.

+1 yI think so personally that’s not a good look I hate people who are rude to waiters worst case just don’t tip them well. I would see it as a red flag if my date did that I think. The way people treat waiters and animals really says a lot about them in my opinion. Although my grandma is like the nicest person ever gives waiters a hard time sometimes lmao so then again I don't know.

Yeah I would see that as a red flag. I mean maybe you can still go on a date one more time or something but it sounds like he might be a bit unhinged.

Exactly. Unhinged. Something seemed a little off about him.
I was in an abusive relationship before and my ex acted pretty similarly to how this guy is acting on the first date where I almost got up and left. - +1 y
We’re coworkers tho
I don't know he’s a different person entirely over text - +1 y
We don’t work on same projects together or anything, barely interact at work
It’s basically all outside of work hours

+1 yWho doesn't freak out every once in a while. At least he doesn't seem to be hiding anything. If it's a regular thing and you're not into it, yea move on.

He may have had a bad day and took it out on the writer, or his true self is starting to show.
Keep your eye on it.04 Reply- +1 y
Well not only that but he told me he got kicked out of his Uber and then had to ride a bike to our date
- +1 y
I asked him because I thought that was insane... he said something like “dude why are you were you so late I have somewhere I need to go” and something like “your car is shit and disgusting” and the driver let him out on a corner
2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Maybe take a bar keeper course if you keep on. It does seem he is easily angered.

+1 yIt really depends on what he said but if it makes you uncomfortable it's probably a red flag. You can point out a mistake without being a total douchebag about it.

Yeah I don’t remember too well. I was uncomfortable though so signals this wasn’t good.
He just told waiter it was too watered down, too much ice, proportions wrong, and wanted a lime.
Something along those lines
When waiter walked away he was rolling his eyes and complaining - +1 y
Well, he has a right to complain if the drink wasn't right. and it doesn't sound to bad. give him a second chance as long as he not treating the servers like subs he should be fine

+1 yWhy should he be flagged. The waiter wants a to right?
00 ReplyHow ‘over the top’ was his expression of anger?
02 Reply- +1 y
@Xtendable he was rolling his eyes and complaining to me about it and talking shit about the waiters when they walked away. He just was like “scuse me this is really watered down and I also asked for a lime” and other things I can’t remember but it was in his tone.

Well he just told him what was wrong with it.
Anyway I felt uncomfortable throughout the date anyway. He also asked to split the check (not a HUGE deal, but... he got annoyed when there was only one pen and i was filling out my check and he needed it... - +1 y
I almost cried. He was abrasive and made a comment to me that just hit me the wrong way. I don't know if I’m overreacting. If what I said sounds abusive let me know.

Thanks ♥️ Yeah I’m not gonna give up. One bad date. Other good guys out there and I’m always trying to better myself. Nothing comes of just dwelling on a negative experience.
