How to get guys to date you instead of wanting friends with benefits?

I have no trouble meeting guys who want "friends with benefits" and frankly I don't like friends with benefits. I really want to meet a guy who actually wants to date. How does one avoid the guys who want friends with benefits and find the ones who want to actually date?

I want to fall in love and you can't fall in love while in a "friends with benefits."

Yeah, I literally had a guy talk to me the other day we planned a date and everything. He told me he was looking to date; asked me if I was into friends with benefits and I said no. Then a few days later he asked if I changed my mind on friends with benefits and I said no. Then he canceled the date.
