Is it lame to just go on dates with guys and force yourself to be interested in them?

Like if guys ask me out at work. Should I say yes and then just try to force a feeling for them even if they have no conversation skills. I try to be fair and give every guy a chance but sometimes I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard. I mean trying to force myself to like a man?

Yes, it is lame to force yourself to feel anything for a man who doesn’t align with your core values, standards, and goals. All for the sake of being in a relationship, being less lonely, or whatever your motive is for this mindset.

Did you experience that before? In the past if I liked a guy it usually turned out bad like he was a manipulative jerk so I started to just not trust my desires.
