My roommate offered me to live with him.. i couldnt find a place but there were rules... we are not in a relationship so its obvious he doesn't want me too meet his family. His daughter wanted to celebrate her bday in his house this weekend and he said yes without asking me.. i told him to not let her cause i do not have any plans this weekend and i am not goin to shy away from these people.. or stay upstairs then he got angry... but he asked me too stay when i had another choice months ago to stay somewhere else.. qhy is he mad?

Did I get this correct? So you are living at his place and now you are trying to dictate over his daughters birthday (which is once a year) so that you can sit around doing nothing at all?
