I don't care if a girl is funny or not - I just want her to have enough of a sense of humor that she isn't offended by everything. We all know those people who get upset if someone tells a joke, or if something happens on TV and they get all bent out of shape, instead of taking it for the laugh it was meant to be - and those are the kinds of people I do my best to avoid.

I mean, yes, a funny girl is a plus, but a girl who lives to be offended is a deal-breaker.

I think I'm funny, but people often can't tell when I'm joking. The people who get it find me hilarious. The ones who don't just think I'm pretty weird.

I tend to be very facetious. Most people don't understand facetiousness as well as they understand sarcasm. Facetiousness doesn't have an object that it cuts down, so people often just think I'm being literal.

I'll also make weird references or comparisons, but just because of the environment I grew up in, they're often based in academia.

My humor also tends to include a lot of exaggeration ad absurdum. But again, some people don't catch on. Quite a few people apparently think I just have a real crazy life. I guess they still find it funny. They just also think it's real.

I made a joke in my history class once in high school. Mostly for my own amusement. It was an extended joke during a debate. Most of the class (including the teacher) couldn't even tell that I was joking, because my answers still made sense. Exactly one of my classmates was laughing uncontrollably, and would have to hold onto the desk every time I said something. I think that sums up my sense of humor pretty well.

I crack myself up, and people who know me tend to find me funny. People who can't tell when I'm joking just get very confused.

Of course! Everyone's naturally drawn to someone who has a sense of humor and us guys are no exception to this. It shows that she's aware of her flaws and isn't aftaid to laugh at herself. Nobody likes a person who's a downer all the time.

But yeah, as much as I'm drawn to a woman with a good sense of humor, I think we can all agree that on average, most women aren't as funny as guys are. Maybe it's because many women are too afraid to poke fun at themselves, or each other, or fear offending others and affecting their own self image, I'm not sure.

Oh and for the record, women who make offensive jokes at one another and then end it off with ".. just kidding!" aren't funny. They're just annoying and obnoxious.

Funny women can be attractive. But I've legitimately never met a funny woman in my life, before. I've met "quirky/witty" here on GAG (@mia-wallace, not real name). I've met "has a dark sense of humor." (@Daniela1982). And I've met "has a morose, twisted sense of humor" (@ms_facesitter / @Passion_Devil). But a woman who legitimately made me laugh? No, never.

Women get offended too easily and worry too much about their self-image to usually ever be funny. That's why the only successful female stand up comics have either been ugly, gay, or both. Look it up. I wish more women were funny. But you make one joke about their smelly snatch and they're getting all offended, once again.

A good sense of humor that i can relate to is an attractive quality. Most very attractive women aren’t very funny, and most very funny women aren’t very attractive. Comedians are usually pretty twisted in one or more ways. And it’s pretty widely understood by most straight men that the hotter a woman is, the crazier she is. So a very beautiful woman who is also very funny is almost certainly a danger to herself and others. Ell oh ell! I would stay clear if i ever met one.

Being able to have fun and joke around and be funny is absolutely an attractive trait for a woman to have. It really adds to their overall charm and charisma and it’ll make a man enjoy their company more.

Of course, it’ll be important for them to have other sides to them as well, but being funny is definitely an asset and not a liability. It also showcases her personality and she’ll never get boring.

I believe that there is a difference between being funny, interactive, sexy and attractive.

Combinations can happen and do happen to be honest.

Funny women, I think are interactive in nature, primarily. It really does not say anything about being attractive and sexy.

Just that she is interactive and skilled at it too.

Do I find it sexy? Not necessarily.. Depends on the woman I guess.. Do I find it great? Absolutely.. I like funny women, and I've met a lot in my lifetime so yeah.. They usually are older and more bold, and not that cute.. I don't meet a lot of younger women especially cute ones that are too funny.. Unless they were drunk and didn't give a damn.. That's not to say I haven't met any at all..

A woman who likes to laugh and goof around is generally more easy going. Not that she has lesser standards but she can blow off petty bs and just move on.

plus, she’s more fun to be around. Being with a sexy women is great, but add laughter and easygoing attitude…awesome.

Very attractive and it keeps the relationship alive vs one where everything has to be politically correct and the pettiest thing Will cause a full blown argument which is very unhealthy. To be strictly honest I look for a PERSON that will stimulate my mind and challenge me mentally. Do I think funny women are sexy... I don't know every single woman in existence to say that because she can be funny but attractive or she can be sexy but doesn't have a sense of humor. Personally haven't met a girl as funny as my mates because I feel like our humour is just on another level and might actually get to an offensive level. Like when I have watched south park with a girl she just got super uncomfortable, but liked family guy which is super lame in my option. In My experience I have found a lot of Women to be quite arrogant, especially if they are viewed as attractive. I have finally gotten a women but it can be grueling for a guy to have to be rejected by so many women before finally landing a date, relationship, or marriage. If I had a dollar for every time I was rejected by a Woman before I finally successfully got a girlfriend then I could afford to treat everybody who is on this page to an expensive dinner.
