Guys, Is there anyone that don’t rely on social media for dating anymore?

Hey! I’m in highschool and I deleted my social media a while ago. Nothing bad happened or anything, I just wanted to focus more on reading and building true friendships. One of my many realizations from deleting socials was how awkward guys are (at least at my school) these days. When my mom or even grandma tell stories of first kisses and dates, guys seemed so much bolder before (maybe so we’re girls too.) Is there any hope left for finding authentic relationships in this day in age without the use of asking for “snap” or “sliding into dms”? Or am I just nuts?

I do not. Real people and friends of people I meet. www.meetup.com has been good to me in hobby areas like indoor and outdoor soccer. Have you tried it ⁉️
