I am very upset by this. Did I say anything wrong? He sends me lots of photos and videos of himself from time to time over the years and I sent him some in the past too.

Hi, you think it is a strange subject? He sends me pictures and videos of himself much often than I do. The last time I sent him a picture /video of mine was half a year ago. So I thought of just letting him see a bit of my less attractive (sweaty) side, since he said I always show him only my bad side.

There is a big difference between someone showing you an angry cyst on his face or an oily face Vs 'want to see how sweaty I am' but such a comment between two guys or two women generally has no hidden context or questionable undercurrent.

I was talking to a girl that was into me and when I commented about how sweaty I had gotten in my workout, she was blushing... if I were to say the same thing to a man, it would have simply been a gym routine.
