The thing is that the entire way 90% of people go about finding a girlfriend/wife today is wrong and not wise so it's sort of like asking if it's wise to eat hot dogs you found on the beach. It's all rolling the dice. Yes, it's less risky to go with someone who has less baggage but you can never even know that for sure these days.
