Dont sleep with him until you have been out with him at least 6 times. If he keeps taking you out and trying to get to know you probably not just a hook up.

How he messages does he give suggestions for plans, sometimes u can't really tell until ur on the date and they ask u if u wanna go back to theirs or yours. But I think if he's very interest in u like ir likes or dislikes then he likes u and will most likely not want a hook up alone.
