How to know if he's into me after the first date?

so as we went through the first date well he kept on looking into my eyes and sometimes there was some touching but the next day of the date he stopped texting me as he used to before so I just wanna know does that mean a rejection or I might have given him a sign that I didn't like him?

well at the end of our first date he said that he will be busy the coming days because of getting into a new job so we didn't actually talk about another date

well we haven't talked on the phone yet after yesterday night's date he just texted me after the date checking if i got home safe and we talked a little but after that i didn't text him and he didn't too
