I am a 50 year old male with not a lot going for me? Terminal health issue although years not months? Not working is there any hope for me at all?

I have had many successes in life, my son being the biggest but sacrificed my career halfway in to make this happen and was very guarded of our space when dating. Now I feel I am ready to give my love but worried too many pass judgement on my health and financial situation before getting on even a first date.

Don't think so negative. Know your worth and the great guy you are and get yourself out there. There's someone out there for you and even if it takes a few no's it'll be worth the yes! Pray about it! Let the Lord guide you to your love let him lift you up

I would have to know more about your health situation before I could make a judgment call here, but It's never too late to start saving for retirement, especially since:

1. It will be shorter than expected (what kind of health issues?) and

2. Just one son and no bitch ex sabotaging you anymore.
