Met a guy in a learning app (not dating app) we are going to meet after 4 months?

So it’s been 3 weeks I’m talking every day to this guy message , calls. I am 31 years old and this guy let’s call him Sam he is 37 years old. He lives in my country while I’m studying abroad!! It’s interesting. We have to meet in person when I go back in December.
I don’t know why but this guy feels different. Is it normal to already experience liking someone by online and video calls so far until we meet?
We have already decided to meet in person and see how it goes.. he told me he is interested to know me more and that he likes me.

He also said he is looking for a long term relationship and wants to get married etc! We didn’t meet in an dating app but when talking every day when said this.
Instead of being concerned and call this guy a creep and block him I decided to give him a chance. That well what he says makes sense he wants to find someone to love and be on a long term relationship.

Anyone going through the same situation?

Yes it is normal, and especially if you've taken the time to get to know each other. It can't hurt to give him a chance.

Thank you! We are going to meet in person in December. But I’m scared lol even though we talk now In phone camera messages etc I’m worried what if he won’t like me in a real face to face. 😅
I’m even dieting exercising every day it’s funny lol. That guy is like oh hey did you have a good day ? I’m thinking hmm I ate once for you 😂
I notice you are young by age early 20 s but seem to like him bc I’m 31 he is 37 and we are at the age where we don’t want games anymore. So hopefully face to face goes well 🥺😭
