Because so many women make it a point to treat men like shit in their daily lives. I don't think very many women realize just how actively unpleasant so many of your fellow sisters are to interact with. It is definitely a thing.

I just assume this is an intentional choice women make, because I can't imagine that anyone could possibly so socially inept to think that going through life acting like an abrasive bitch isn't normal.

Because us Guys hardly ever have any Girls show us Affection so we usually sort of jump on it when we do which is obviously wrong but it's the only Affection we are most likely getting even if it is just Friendliness.
