Should I leave my friends with benefits?

I went on three dates with a guy. The first two went well we had coffee, went to the movies, had food, listened to music. No sex, no kissing. Unfortunately he texted me after asking how I felt with just being friends and I said that's fine of course cos I assumed he wasn't into me.

Turns out he's into me.. But only sexually. Well we had a sort of third date got a takeaway (he pays for it all) and we cuddled a lot this time. We ended up having sex as the mood was right.

Now I'm thinking it's a good time to just pull away completely because suddenly I can't stop thinking about him and I feel silly. It's obvious he will only ever want to remain friends and I'm not naive to think that will change. I could have some more hook ups with him but now I'm just worried it'll end in heart break. Is it best to leave him now before things get worse?
