I think incels need to go to therapy. Like, I’m a 26 year old virgin, and I’m going to therapy for my shit, and even I don’t consider myself an incel. Like I have a base emotional intelligence and nuanced view, so understanding what I need to work on isn’t that big of an issue for me. Like some of these people are just so angry at everyone else, and they never stop and look inward to why every girl of the 100 they asked rejects them. Like, how could you think everyone else is the problem when you are the constant variable in all these situations?
It’s just sad to me, they need mental help badly, but a lot won’t, and some will eep killing themselves and other people because they’re so desperately mentally ill

It's a bit of both.
Men putting high expectations on themselves and not striving to achieve them. As well as a portion of women being very vocal about wanting men of a caliber they themselves are not worth. Skewing mens perception of what they should be able to do.

Since they are all "self-proclaimed" as such, I don't give much credence to the claims, real or not. Heck- there are people who claim they are any of a dozen "genders" and that it changes daily because "they are fluid". I ignore that stuff too.
