It really just depends on the approach for me and I dont care how you look, this holds true of anyone. Dont approach me and talk about my looks. It makes me self conscious and makes me feel you are there for only one reason. Make me laugh and have something original. I promise it will work more often than not when approaching someone like myself.

The thing is, everyone wants different things. Some are more hung up on looks. Most are just tired of being approached in general because it's the same thing over and over. It's not the end of the world if you strike out, even multiple times. It only takes one successful attempt.

Approach with confidence but not so much that you feel you are entitled to her time or body. That is usually a good rule of thumb.

Yeah a crush is a little different cause feelings are already involved so it hurts more.

I've had my own fair share of being rejected by those I had a crush on at the time. You just move on best you can and know it just wasn't the one. I know my confidence was shaken and I worried if I was pretty enough or funny enough, but sometimes you just aren't gonna be someone's cup of tea and that's ok. Doesn't make you a creep.
