I left the table, quietly paid for my own dinner and left her at the restaurant, blocking her number on my way out.

None of the poll answers applies because I'm not a simp and don't pay for women's food or gifts, unless I want to do them a charity favor. At best, I'd pay for a coffee date, so I also don't believe in spending money on first dates, either. Dinner would be like a 4th or 5th date thing.

My rule is, I wouldn't pay for a woman on a date anymore than I would a random stranger who's name I don't know. I'm willing to cover up to $5 for a random person who lost their wallet or is a little short on cash or something. Same rule applies to any woman I'm dating. My self-respect and dignity comes first.

The last time I paid for a woman for anything was in 2020, for a friend who visited me in Korea from halfway across the country. We went to dinner and I paid for her because she traveled to the town I was in (Daejeon, which is boring AF. It's like the Cleveland of Korea.). Even me mentioning that makes me feel like a simp and this was a non-dating female friend I paid dinner for.

Other than that, I don't simp for anyone, no. It's not only a sh*t test and preserving my own dignity, but I've never been rich enough to burn money on random hos.

When I was previously attempting to date, about 10% would be online, 10% through friends, and 80% just me flirting with them when seeing them in public. The one who tried to make me pay was through a friend of a friend, and was spoiled as hell.

I've never not paid for a first date. I also don't go crazy on a first date, rarely breaking $20. Same with a second date. If she is still interested after that then I know she is not there for free meals and we go do something more on subsequent dates.
