Why are the good looks and youth of men not valued like women's youth and beauty? Why are older men considered more desirable?

They are seen as more mature and stable but honestly I don't think that's always true. Look at Leo, he may be financially stable man but still acts like 29 yr old guy who tosses women aside after a while. It really just depends on the personality of the guy and morals, you will find men in all ages and financial brackets to be mature or immature. For me, I honestly never cared for older men when I was young, I saw them as uncles and dads, not romantic partners. Don't care how much money he has, if he's old enough to be my grandfather it's not happening.

Men get old, women get replaced trope, the main biological reason is fertility, men can still have children at those ages, women don't, men tend to care a lot about woman's beauty, while women tend to care more about man's strength and/or money. Men are valued for their resources and ability to provide things for women and children. Unless a man is born into wealth and resources, it takes time to accumulate a respectable quantity of either. Until we discover the fountain of youth, time translates to age.

Well, I don't think it's possible to do a mathematical proof of this, but if you think about it, a man is fertile longer than a woman is, so her attractiveness is more tied to fertility than his is. Men over 40 are more attractive to women than the reverse and definitely over 50.

What's "old age" in your opinion? If a man takes care of himself, he normally won't have sexual problems until he's pretty old.
