Girls, would you go camping as a date?

I know it sounds dodgy but hear me out. To a public campground, with other people around, assuming the guy was someone from your friend group and you had separate tents.

Under those circumstances, if a guy asked to go camping to get to know each other better then would you consider it or would it just be too weird?

I would certainly not because even if it is a public campground, the danger is very real that something may happen.

Having separate tents is no warrant for security for the girl. Nothing really prevents the guy to slide into the tent and attempts something on the victim while she is asleep.

On a first date, one should always chose a public place where there are people around that would be able to assist the victim of an attempted assault. While camping sounds nice, it is not a safe place for a woman, even if she knows the person.

I personally would never go camping on a date. There are too many risks involved.

I love camping, but if a guy asked me to go for the purpose of getting to know one another... I would know where that was going. If it was a group of friends, I'd consider going.
