So here's the catch: some women pretend they don't know what they want - and even voice that to a guy they're wanting to break up with. This is a key indicator here that most men need to be aware of. If you're dating a woman who says she doesn't know what she wants, that's a precursor to her getting ready to let you go, especially if she's already started talking to someone else.

Some women also pretend they don't know what they want, just to get you to go away if you're pursuing her and she's not interested. She will claim things like she's not sure what she wants right now or outright lie and say she's not looking for anything at the moment, while she is actually playing the field with some other guy (s).

Aside from those instances, in general I do think most women don't really know what they want because they're not in tuned with themselves enough, and don't really try to. Why do you think it's harder for them to be content, and why they change their minds? When you know how to be happy and even create your own happiness - with or without someone else there - it means that you know who you are and what you want and like.

A lot of women are seeking happiness through material things and a need for attention, and believe that having social circles makes them important, cultured, or brings them more depth. They're not doing any personal homework of their own to grow and learn more inside themselves, so when you're empty on the inside you really don't know what you want.

They won’t know what they want and then when Someone tells them what they want they Become defensive because they know that person is right and since they want to be right it makes it impossible for them to change. People don’t change and that’s human nature and has been since the beginning. Give a past drug addict a drug that Quit drugs Quit Boozing and they will get back in the Addiction game people don’t change they never do not if they can go back to old habits and Be stuck all over again in the same problem they left years ago.

On paper we know what we want, but attraction isn't necessarily a choice. We don't choose who we're attracted to. On a surface level, yes, we can go for what we think we want but ultimately it comes down to how the guy makes us feel, which is why you see/hear girls saying they like certain things but end up dating a guy completely different.

They know what they want. They don't know that what they want may not be what they need. In some cases they are what they need for a time. My sister was like that. She was LITERALLY the best thing to happen to her two most recent exes. She needed that. Now she doesn't. Even though her current boyfriend says that she is the best thing that ever happened to him, he's not quite that hopeless.
