Well the word OVERprotective means too much, to me that would mean things like not wanting you to leave the house alone and not wanting you to talk with guy friends, that is not normal and I would not like it.

However, it is v. normal for guys to be protective (not overprotective but properly protective) and I would not be with a guy who was not.
