My boyfriend of three years is significantly more attractive than me, so much so that other ladies have hit on him in front of me and assumed I'm his sister or a charity case. He also looks younger than me despite being 2 years my senior. He is thinner, I am larger than him, he wears a size small to my large, do understand though I am a former long-distance runner so, despite my size, I am fit and healthy. However, lately, more and more ladies are coming onto him and he just got his degree and a house and car (aerospace engineer). I am worried he is going to look around and see thinner and cuter girls and evaluate his life decisions. Should I be hitting the gym, or working with a stylist (I have horrendous fashion)?

Sounds like you need some confidence to overcome those securities. Let's start with the obvious though. He is with YOU. He chooses to be and for a long time. Three years is a good while. If he were going to leave you, he'd have done it a long time ago.

Just because other girls pay attention to him doesn't mean he is going to cheat. My fiancé is very attractive (in my eyes and others) and gets hit on. I just brush it off because I know he is loyal to me.

You seem to lack confidence. You mention a couple of things that might help boost that. Definitely hit the gym. If for nothing else, it is a healthy habit. Plus, once you start seeing results, you will gain some confidence back.

Working with a stylist and changing up your fashion with a fresh look might also do the trick. It does for me sometimes. I feel kind of "new" if you know what I mean when I buy new pieces of clothing.

Biggest thing is that you have to realize that he is with you, and that is all that matters.

Anything to better yourself is always a good idea. It is good for your self esteem. But do it only because you want it for yourself.

For your boyfriend, rather than working to lose weight, working to be more affectionate would be the way to go. Flirt with him more. Try to have more time together. Even if it is just walk in the nights or evening.

From your end, I can only recommend give your best. If he still breaks up, thats something out of your hand. But worrying about now would make your present worse.
