How should I ask her about her Halloween plans?

This girl and I have been talking for over a month, we actually went out once but we cooled off since we both had recent breakups

We still talk a lot and I know she likes Halloween stuff, and I've been to her apartment a few times and is happy when I'm around

Her parents are staying with her this week and she's told me she focused only on that when they're here, but with Halloween coming up soon I kind of want to make that a date, or at least before Halloween have a date so then we can spend Halloween together

Our recent breakups, more specifically her since I *think* I'm ready. If she needs more time to heal I don't want to ruin my chances with her by being too quick

So why not call and just ask, "Hey, do you feel ready to maybe get together for an evening? If so, I was thinking it wold be fun to make plans for Halloween!"

I'm just afraid she is not ready because of her recent breakup. I think I am, I think, but if she isn't I don't want to ruin what we currently have. And her parents coming and going makes it a bit more difficult too, since again she spends all her time with them when they're in town

I know, it's dumb, but coming off breakups I don't know where our heads are, just that I like her and seems like she's into me too. Seems. And her parents coming and going complicates things, though she seems to keep me up to date on when they're coming
