Some people here say that I only like Asian women because they remind me of my ex-wife. However, I was ridiculously attracted to her when I met her 21 years ago before I even knew she was my type. Now long after her and dating a woman of my own race (White), I still feel intense things when I see Asian women.

I believe that I'm naturally attracted to Asian women, but the deep connection I had with my ex made it even more powerful.

I don't see my appreciation of Asian beauty as a negative thing. I feel as if it's almost like a super power. When I'm in a relationship with the type of woman I'm most attracted to, I treat her like she's everything to me because she is. I wouldn't want to be any other way.

Everyone's first real relationship determines their criteria. I also suspect that your ex treated you better than the women you are currently dating right now whichcould tie in to Asian culture. It is not that you want your ex back. It is that you associate her character with her race.

Obviously you must have found Asian features attractive previous to meeting her if you were so into her from the jump. I think you likely became even more comfortable with them being you were married to her, and now you have a better idea of your preferences.
