Guy wants to talk on phone before date but then doesn't set up date? Did I do the right thing?

Matched with a guy on Tinder. We texted for about 10 days and then he asked if I would like to speak on the phone. We set up a time and spoke for about an hour. At the end he said he would like to meet in person and asked what type of date I would like. However we didn't make any concrete plans.

I know that people don't all move that the same pace BUT I think he should have set something up at the end of the call if he was truly interested. I didn't hear anything 24 hours later so I unmatched him.

You want someone who proceeds at your pace, or at least explains himself. He isn't what you're looking for, so you had every right to unmatch him. By not seeking clarification, you'll never truly know what was going on in his head. Feel free to continue your search for what you believe will work best for you.

He could just be clueless: not realizing the importance of taking the lead, by setting a definitive date and making the decision of what you two will do.
