I'm not saying a majority of women, I am simply asking if it matters to some.
I like on air personalities like radio presenters, I also like engineers. I don't like comedians. they think everything is a joke.
I like reporters. I don't like bankers. they are stingy. I like programmers. I also like fashion designers and anyone that creates something like you know manufacturers.

What do you think about Marketing professionals like myself lol Just curious what women think of it. Marketing is typically thought of as a soulless profession, but it's quite the contrary.

Other responsibilities include: Client Relationship management to Whole foods, Vitamin Shoppe and sprouts, I simply complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids for clients and management (as they don't understand raw data), & am responsible for copywriting company brochures, Fact Sheets & Presentations (B2B).
It is not your cheesy marketing people, I would consider that more outside sales. - +1 y
I went through the trouble to write this given how proud I am of what I do and the misunderstanding of the profession in some cases.

Makes sense.
- +1 y
@ZenJen444 that's nice to hear. I respect blue collar workers 100% but I can see why women are into the professional class so to say. I feel bad for the blue collar workers as many of them make a lot of $ but they have this stigma attached to them even if they are for example someone who builds a house or a construction manager who works on skyscrapers. Those guys often make tons of $ and are nice people!
- +1 y
I wouldn't really have "doctor" and "lawyer" as a criteria either. There are so many professions! Let the guy have his pick.

+1 yIf her goal is to eventually get married and have a family, yes, women take a man's career into account, because we are going to want a partner who helps financially support the family so all of that responsibility doesn't fall all on her. The type of career that a person choses tell you a lot about them, their work ethic, perseverance, how they prepare for the future, and commitment.
There are also careers that just get a bad reputation because of all the issues that people in those careers have, you see this specifically with police officers.

Great explanation. On a primal "caveman" level it makes perfect sense.
- +1 y
Would you want to be in a relationship with a woman who is a truck driver or in the air force and constantly on deployment? Probably my not, if you not are able to recognize that a persons career will impact their relationship then you are the caveman here.
- +1 y
@subagirl Men do not care about a woman's career a woman is valued for her youth and beauty. Put a successful 40 year old career women up against a hot 21 year old that flips burgers and men will always choose the young hot one. Women care about man's career which is why a larger percentage of women would pick the 40 year old.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner speak for your self hon, you don’t care about a woman’s career, you will always choose the 21 year old flipper burgers over the woman who has her life together. Maybe that is part of the reason you and so many men here have such a hard time with women.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl you literally start you statement discussing womens goals. You are allowed to generalize women but I can only speak for myself when generalizing men. You don't recognize the double standard there? Also you keep making up this hard time w/ women lie. Please show me one statement on where I ever mentioned having a hard time w/ women. Perhaps if you learned to before truthful vs making up fallacies you would be able to keep a HV man.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner No I started out by stating that if her goal is to get married and settled down, she is going to care about her potentials husbands career... That's not a generalization that is fact.
I've been married for 6 years, but please continue to make assumptions about my relationships. - +1 y
@Subarugirl That is literally you speaking for someone else. You then double down by providing an opinion as a fact. That is your opinion that a women is going to care about that by definition that is not a fact. You also are made the same generalization about me having such a hard time w/ women. Which is a false assumption based on nothing. I said to get a HV man. Just because you are w/ a man does not make him HV contrary to your belief. Based on the fact that he was forced to settle for someone like you it's reasonable to assume he could not survive in a room of Alpha men like me. So if I understand it's ok for you to make generalizations and assumptions but not OK when it's done about you. Why?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner Ok sure
"In general women don't really provide any real value to men."
"Always money love is intangible"
" Women don't understand relationships and give the worse advice"
"I've only banged 1 chick on Tinder. On Hinge probably 10-12. Match has been most successful by far, literally bang 1 - 2 chicks week on that site."
" Guys dont care about women's careers. It literally doesn't benifit is at all."
"The entire "traditional term is men want the same thing that they've wanted from women since the beginning or time. Food, sex and silence. Feed me Fuck me and STFU."
"I wouldn't make a single mom my girlfriend but I would bang her. Single moms usually dont have enough time to smother you so they're good to use for sex purposes only."
"Men should pick and choose when to protect women the same way women pick and choose when to provide sex to men. "
"This is a great question. My theory has always been that the average guy shouldn't have female friends because most guys dont understand how to use them for their benefit"
"A man cheats if he does not continue to provide security to his woman. A waman cheats if she is sexually active w/ another man."
"Obviously men and women are not equal. "
"Cheating is fine if your a man but unacceptable of you're a women"
"Are you out of your mind? Single moms are for recreational use only"
"Yes all men would cheat. The issue you're having is you're using a female metric to judge men. Men dont really have a "dream girl" mentality. Yes we want hot women but having new hot women is better "
"Honestly if you're a man you should be constantly circulating even when in a relationship."
"Guys aren't that complicated they're all looking for the 3 F's fuck me feed me and shut the fuck up"
"I'm going to bang a bitch. Valentine's day is the easiest day to do that."
... you obviously have an issue with women. - +1 y
@Vegasrunner It's not a generalization honey, you have blasted that fact all over this site.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl TY for sharing this. What about these comments makes you believe I have an issue w/ women?
- +1 y
@subargirl Ahh I think I understand your confusion, you're under the assumption that these statements are meritless and because they hurt your feelings they are somehow sho an issue w/ women. Where is it that you believe these facts originated from?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner no they don’t hurt my feelings, but I am able to recognize how your opinions on women reflects on you. It’s all in the derogatory, dehumanizing language. Men who don’t have issues with women don’t use that kind of language.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl TY for sharing this. The reality is that is an unfounded belief, used by women to cope with receiving information that goes against their beliefs. You don't like hearing this so therefore it's easier for your to attack the messenger. However basic evidence would prove you wrong becasue:
1. You claim they don't hurt your feelings - Then why save my remarks? Do you have the entire conversations, or are you only choosing parts to attempt to validate your POV? What would you say if a guy on GAG was saving the remarks of a female who complained about it?
2. You say you recognize how my opinon of women refelect on me - Yet you have been unable to invalidate any of them. Do you have a specific "opinon" of mine that you believe is untrue, and are you able to provide any evidence as to why?
3. Men who don't have issues... etc - Ironically this is literally your opinon which you are attempting to pass off as fact. This is simply shaming language used to defelect from having to take accountability. If I have "issues' as you claim, then why have I been able to be intimate with enough women to form these opinons? - +1 y
@Vegasrunner TY for sharing this. The reality is that is an unfounded belief, used by you to cope with receiving information that goes against your beliefs. You don't like hearing this so therefore it's easier for your to attack the messenger. However basic evidence would prove you wrong because:
1. You can't tolerate your own words used against you.
2. You can't recognize how demonizing and disrespectful your words are to to the women you want to use.
3. Everyone has issues, but good people dont refer to women as "bitches", think that "Obviously men and women are not equal. ", that "Honestly if you're a man you should be constantly circulating even when in a relationship", or that ""In general women don't really provide any real value to men."... - +1 y
@Subarugirl
1. Those statements only go to validate my point. If you have any questions about them feel free to ask as I would share anything it writing that wasn't factual or have evidence of truth.
2. Looking through those comments I don't see one derogatory word at all. In fact there are no name calling or insults, in any of those comments. If you see one please feel free to share.
3. Lol poor naive child. Those statements were direct answers to questions and Yemen when speaking in the presence of other men frequently refer to women as bitches, even your husband. The fact that you don't know this only validates that women don't understand relationships. - +1 y
@Vegasrunner you don’t think what you have said about how you view women is is insulting, dehumanizing, and derogatory then there is someone wrong with you, and there is nothing left to discuss. In your words “ Cheating is fine if your a man but unacceptable of you're a women”.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl My views on women are based on real world experience, scientific studies and informal interactions like this. All evidence validates the accuracy of those POV's evident by the fact that you are unable to articulate any intelligent counter argument. In fact your position is it makes you feel bad, reality is that is not a valid argument. Yes in order for a man to have the ability to cheat he must be able to attract multiple women meaning he has to be able to create value in himself which is very difficult to do. For a women to be able cheat all she has to do is present herself to a man which is easy to do. In society do we typically reward people for things that are easy to do or difficult to do? I have no problem sharing this because it is true based on all historical, current and social evidence.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner based on all historical, current and social evidence women don’t have value? That cheating is fine if you’re a man but not a woman?
That is incredibly narcissistic dude, how can you not see just how sexist that is?
If you ever had a daughter is that how you would talk to her? Is that how you talk to your mother? - +1 y
@Subarugirl Ironically you are only validating my point. Whether it is "narcissistic" is subjective and based on your own personal view. The fact is the statement is accurate, evidence being you are unable to provide any valid proof disputing this information. In fact you validate two of my views of women in one statement. Instead of focusing on the accuracy of the statement you chose to ask a hypothetical question about family members which has no relevance to the original statement. That is a form of delusion and that is the position most women operate from. You're essentially asking me to ignore facts and evidence because it makes you feel bad?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner You are confusing fact with your personal opinion. It wasn't a hypothetical question... I am seriously asking, do you talk to and treat your mother that way... If you had a daughter would you want her to be treated that way by someone else?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl I understand your confusion. You are simply incorrect. Some of the statements of mine that you used are undebatable facts. 1. Love is intangible - Fact 2. Banging 1 chick on Tinder - Fact 3. Banging 10-12 on Hinge 4. I wouldn't make a single mom my girlfriend - Fact. Other quotes are simply beliefs based on 1. Personal exprience, scientifc study, and interaction. If you polled 100, 1000, 10,,000 100,000 1,000,000 men etc. The majority will tell you that they don't care about a woman's career, this is validated by my personal exprience, basic survey's and communication. Also hopefully you understand the words you are using, but you are incorrect your. The definition of Hypothetical is supposed but not necesarily real or true. You asking me if " I talk and treat my mother that way" or talk to a hypothetical child that I don't have "that way"? You would have to first clearly define what "that way" is. If you don't use evidence, facts and data, then where does your belief system come from?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner what scientific study?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner what surveys?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Notice how you never mentioned where your beliefs come from. This is an example of data collection. You attempt to question, others POV, while never providing any context as to yours?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Again you haven't shared anything about why you hold the beliefs you do. As far as the evidence shows, you hold your beliefs becasue they make you "feel good"
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner you haven’t provided any evidence either even though I keep asking for it
- +1 y
@Subarugirl I've shared w/ you multiple times where this belief system comes from. That is literally why you are asking me "what study's and what survey's" You have yet to provide any evidence or information about why you hold the belief that you do. Based on what you have shared, your theme is this informtion makes you feel bad therefore it is wrong. That is not a valid argument, and feeling the since of entitlement that only you deserve answers is another example that validates my POV.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner where is the evidence? Show me the proof, the research, the studies and surveys. All you have to give is your own opinion
- +1 y
@Subarugirl That is false, evident by the fact that you asked me "What Survey" "What Study", your asking those questions in response to me providing you with the methodology of how my hypothesis were formed. Based on what you have shared your belief system stems from what makes you "feel" good. Ironically this sense of entitlement is an another example of data that goes to validate my POV. When actually reading the statements any OBJEVTIVE person would find that the cruix of your belief is based on how certain words make you " FEEL" using words like "derogatory, dehumanizing, and narcissistic," in an attempt to deflect from the validity of POV's u don't like. If you have some tangible points you would like to share please do, however simply becuase you not liking something does not make it inacurrate, and I would argue that if you truly believe it is inaccurate, then it would be your responsibility to present tangible facts as to why, especially considering you're constantly contributing to the validating of them.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl TY for sharing. Notice you've been asked several pretty basic questions.
1. Clearly define what that way is?
2. Your asking me to ignore facts and evidence because you feel bad?
3. How have I been intimate w/ enough women to form these opinions?
These questions and more have been asked directly to you during this interaction and you have chosen to ignore them, again highlighting your sense of entitlement and hypocrisy, which is literally one of my POV's. It's you challenged my views, therefore it is your responsibility to present evidence to the contrary, not mine to educate you. You are more than welcome to believe what you want however, you have provided no tangible insight into why or how you came about these beliefs. You even took the original comment and then dishonestly presented it, I never said anything about a women not being interested in a man's career, I said men aren't interested in a woman's career and you claimed that it was a "fact" that men do. Yet during all these time you have neither explained or shown any evidence of why you believe this. Based on what you have written all I know is that when something hurts your feelings you believe people shouldn't be allowed to say it. You have not even taken the position that these beliefs are inaccurate, simply that they hurt your feelings. - +1 y
@Vegasrunner no I’m asking for evidence that supports your stance, which you claim you have tangible facts that prove it. Present your tangible facts, if what you’re saying is true, then it should be easy to prove it, so do so.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl So you agree that your POV is just based of feelings and not fact?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner no I’m asking you to provide the facts your opinions are based off of. Funny I still haven’t seen any other than how you feel about women. I can’t believe how some men talk about their mother and family. It’s horrible
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Asked and answered. Whereas you on the other hand have refrained from sharing any concrete evidence of your belief. Your beliefs are based on nothing more than emotion which is why you constantly include moms in the conversation in the hopes that I'm as emotionally fragile as you and your circle. If you have some evidence to back up any of these beliefs if not, then I suggest you just hold your L and move on.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner I haven’t seen any evidence just a lot of your opinions. Where are the facts
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Perhaps this subject matter is to complicated for you. Are you making the claim that you haven't presented any facts about your opinion?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner be specific, what claims?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl My apologies if English is not your first language. Are you attempting to make the claim that you haven't presented any facts, to form your established beliefs?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner I will be clearer since you are obviously having difficulty understanding.
What claims are you referring to specifically? - +1 y
@Subarugirl You claim that you have "seen just a lot of your opinion" So are you making the claim that you have not presented any fact? Seems like a pretty straightforward question.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner What claims are you referring to specifically? or do you not know?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Seems pretty straight forward to anyone w/ basic reading skills. YOU have made a claim that YOU require evidence to make YOUR decisions. Yet YOU have provided no evidence. Do YOU have any evidence regarding YOUR beliefs or are you providing another example of female hypocrisy?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner Which claims are you referring to specifically?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl Asked and answered Which part are you struggling with?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner actually no you never did answer the question you keep talking circles around it.
Specifically, which of my claims are you referring to? - +1 y
Quite the contrary; I don't care as I can provide no matter what they do. I prefer classy professional women and they tend to like men whom do the same.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl That is false. Any intelligent person reading this will see a direct answer to that question in my previous comment. My last question to you was what part are you struggling w? Your response is not a relevant answer to that question but it does provide additional evidence to specific theories regarding women.
1. Entitlement - You refuse to answer specific questions yet believe you are entitled to answers from others.
2. Ignorance - When women don't like something they play dumb. You don't like the fact that you're been caught contradicting yourself so now you are pretending to be dumb
3. Hypocrisy - Men need to understand that women work off of hypocrisy and this is a great example. Your original comment was an inaccurate generalization to one man's fact (the author.) When another man shared a similar fact (me) it was also disregarded in exchange for you making a baseless claim, even though you claim you need "evidence" you're perfectly fine w/ accepting your own beliefs w/o providing any. Essentially you've taken the position that the only truth is the truth you want to hear. This is very similar to the former US president and other dictators like Hitler and Pol Pot.
The good news is these are all excellent teaching tools to validate the behavior of basic women.
TY and please continue to share.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner You have not answered a specific question, you keep trying to talk circles around everything... If you can't even support your stance, then maybe try figuring that out before being a misogynistic ass hole who think his mother only purpose and value it to feed fuck and shut up... bet she is so proud of the way you talk about her.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl I certainly understand your emotional unstability as it is not an uncommon reaction for woman when faced w/ their own flaws. I'm not sure what my mother has to do w/ this conversation, however if it somehow makes you feel better to insult mothers than that only continues to highlight your overall lack of character.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner what emotional stability are you referring to?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner let’s see if you are capable of answering a direct question.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl I've made no mention to you of emotional stability in my previous response. Are you sure you're tagging the correct person?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl If answering direct questions is so important to you why do you struggle to do so?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner you first. If you’re such a man answer the question I asked first.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl The fact that you dont like a answer does not negate from it being provided. You're also asking me to provide an answer to something I never said. You need to ask that question to whoever mentioned "emotional stability" to you as they would be the only ones that could answer that. Finally based on this conversation, and my vast experience w/ women I have reason to believe you are being disingenuous. You're begging for an answer simply so you have something to discredit based on emotion. The fact that you haven't provided any of the things you claim you value, proof, evidence, etc yet require others to do so validates my belief in your hypocrisy. If you're looking to engage on an intellectual, fact based conversation w/ someone like me then you need to learn to control your emotions, refrain from lying and layout tangible points that highlight your view. Is that something you're capable of doing?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner okay. For the sake of civility. I will answer one specific question you ask me and then, you answer one of mine. That way we can both be clear and concise. How does that sound?
- +1 y
@Subarugirl I'm not sure if that's realistic because most questions would require a follow up for clarity, plus many of your questions are hypothetical. However the most obvious question is. if men truly care about a womans career, why are there exponentially more famous men, w/ average partners (based on earnings b4 meeting their partner) than famous women w/ average earning guys?
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner because research has shown that in heterosexual couples, men are happier when both partners contribute financially – but much prefer to be the main breadwinners.
With stress levels high when they are sole breadwinners, men appear to be more relaxed when their wives or partners earn anything up to 40% of the household income.
But their distress levels increase sharply as their spouse’s wages rise beyond that point. And they find it most stressful when they are entirely economically dependent on their partners.
The findings are based on an analysis of over 6,000 married or cohabiting heterosexual couples over a period of 15 years. Levels of distress are calculated based on feeling sad, nervous, restless, hopeless, worthless, or that day to day life is an effort.
journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/0146167219883611 - +1 y
@Subarugirl TY for sharing this now I see why your confused.
1. They literally start off by telling you "this is study takes a new approach" The new part is that they are not measuring facts rather feeling (which I can now see why a woman would try to use this as evidence) Unless they tangible metrics that constitutes "stress" You have no way to know what factors contribute to the person's stress. For all you know those 6000 people could all make under 40k a year so those high stress levels could simply relate
2. My statement was men don't care about a women's career. This study actually validates MY point because if they did, you wouldn't be able to find that many men that decided marry women that make significantly less than them. The study even say that men are "happier" when the women make 40% of what they make meaning that the majority of the men surveyed choose women who made even less than that. If your belief was valid, you should have seena significant number of men choosing women who make equal or more than them.
3. That doesn't answer my question. If what you were saying is true, why is it not reflected in public society? You should have the same number of multi-milionare women that are married to guys that work at Walmart.
TY for sharing this as, I now understand that the issue is you don't understand my statement, the evidence is you're using this to validate your point when really it only further goes to validate mine. The big question is do you really understand the statement? - +1 y
@Vegasrunner LOL actually it does validate my point. Men do care about a woman's career, which is why they often chose women who earn less than them and why they are uncomfortable with their spouse earning more... if they didn't care it wouldn't matter whether she made more than he does... but study shows that most do.
- +1 y
@Subarugirl TY for this. This explains almost everything I need to know about why you have the belief system you have and why a social media education is not always a good thing. The facts of this study are
1. 6500+ Couples were interviewed
2. The majority or all of the men in the couples made more than the women (closest total was 40%) This means that 100% of the men in this study are ok if their spouse contributes less than half or as little as nothing financially to a relationships. Your belief is that men are making this decision based on a female metric (uncomfortable). If that belief were true then divorce stats would show men initiating the majority of divorces since the #1 reason for filed divorce is money. Also if your POV was valid at least one of those couples would be a woman who is married to a man that makes equal or less than her. The reason it's not true is because women are typically hypergumous and are the ones uncomfortable w/ settling for a man that makes less than them. On top of that you've had multiple men tell you that men don't care about a woman's career but your attempting to ignore any information that contradicts that even your own study. From a common sense standpoint go put a question out on GAG and ask would a man settle down w/ a wealthy beautiful woman. U and I are both aware the answer will be obviously yes. If you ask if a man will settle down w/ a rich ugly woman you are going to get more no's That's because men don't care about a woman's career only her looks matter. - +1 y
@Vegasrunner Actually it's just you. My father cares about my mother's career, my husband cares about mine, my father-in-law cares about his wife's career and my brother-in-law cares about his wife's career.
Yeah 100% are okay if their wife makes less, but most are not okay if she makes more... that right there proves that they do care.
What evidence shows that the #1 reason for filed divorce is money?
Because the study, published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy, surveyed 2,371 recently divorced people, asking them to select more than one reason for their split. The top response, answered by 47% of participants, was a lack of love or intimacy, either because one or both partners fell out of love. - +1 y
@Subarugirl As I said, I now understand where your belief system comes from. Your brother, husband, dad are all reflections of you and most people behave like those around them. You believe this is true because the men you know you believe hold this mindset. Which is why hearing something different is so triggering. You study shows zero evidence that a man won't except a woman that makes more that is just an assumption you are making. Go online and actually search 2020 divorce results by county I'm the USA. Woman initiated over 70% of all divorces and the #1 reason given was for money. What people say and people actually do is different.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner actually I provided evidence. Im not sure where you’re getting the idea that I am triggered, I’m not, just having a discussion. I can’t understand how you would interpret that as triggering though.
Though I’m still waiting for the evidence that show that money is the primary reason women initiate divorce. So as I previously asked.
What evidence shows that the #1 reason for filed divorce is money? - +1 y
@Subarugirl Lol, you provided evidence that men don't factor in a women's career when making the decision to marry. You're triggered bevause that evidence refutes your point so you've decided to interpret for your own beliefs. If you're making the claim that men care about a woman's career, then you need to present something showing that a man either married or did not marry a woman based on what she does for a living. This is the problem w/ a social media education. When you read a study you're supposed to take the facts from that study and come to a conclusion. You started w/ a conclusion and now are attempting to see how the study can support it. I'm not sure why you're still waiting on that evidence, if you were actually interested in the truth you would simply go Google that data, but you're not. You're interested in arguing for argument sake. Divorce is public record in the US so there is nothing preventing you from finding these statistics you dont because u realize they go against your belief and your only interested in things that validate your belief. This validates another female theory. - Woman are more concerned w/ being right to let the truth get in the way. I really ty for this because I believe this interaction will help a lot of men see women for how they really are.
- +1 y
@Vegasrunner Lol the evidence proves that some men do care. Not all, obviously like you but a lot do care. It's absolutely naive that you would believe that a man wouldn't factor in what she does for work when deciding to get married... I know that if she was in the military and on deployment or had to travel constantly for work that any smart man would take her career into account. It would be stupid not to.
- +1 y
@Suburugirl That's because you are making the mistake of using a female metric. YOU would personally care about those things, so you're making the mistake of thinking that men must think like you. Most likely because you have only been around more beta male types that are scared to share the truth w/ you. There's also an immaturity aspect to your belief, at 25 you naively believe you understand how the world works, when in reality you've only been exposed to the adult world for 7 years while I've had 20+ years of evidence that contradicts your belief. Essentially what you're saying is that I shouldn't believe my own eyes because of your feelings I'm never going to do that unless you have tangible evidence to the contrary. That's why you presented the study that you did. What that study proves is that no matter how little a woman makes a man will still marry her. You're making an assumption that it means that the same man wouldn't marry that same woman if she made more than him, but you can't find enough cases to support that belief because typically men date down. Unbiased people would simply admit their hypothesis was wrong, but women have a difficult time doing that, so now you're kinda stuck trying to use your personal opinions to prove your point which leads us into the same place. The thing that you're not getting is my goal isn't to prove people right or wrong, feel free to believe what you want to believe I'm only interested in understanding why you believe the things that you do and you have already shown me why thank you.

@Vegasrunner Actually no, I know men care about those things because they have said they care about those things. If you don't thats fine but you dont speak for all men, thank god.
And no I am no assuming anything, so stop trying to put words in my mouth. My conclusion is that in most circumstances, do care about their wife's career. They care so much that in most cases men are uncomfortable when their wife earns more than them. You're not married so you aren't fully able to understand that kind of dynamic. I believe in the things that I have personally witnessed and experienced. - +1 y
@Subarugirl As I have said b4 that response falls und #2 Exceptions. All of something is not the prerequisite for a hypothesis to be correct because that is impossible. So you believe everything men tell you? By definition you are making an assumption, the words being used are yours. If that is your conclusion, you've done a terrible job provideing information of how you've come to it. You're simply disregarding facts you don't like for one's you do. It's ok for you to believe the things you've personally witnessed and experienced but somehow my experiences are invalid?

@Vegasrunner same can be said for you

@Subarugirl Not sure what that has to do w/ the conversation. I'm asking a direct question. Why is ok for you to make decisions based on personal decisions but not the 6500 guys that married women that were financially inferior to them?
Most "Modern Women" are just gold-diggers that see men as ATM's.
"Women take a man's career into account, because we are going to want a partner who helps financially support the family so... responsibility doesn't fall all on her."
TL;DR: Some women want to be treated like children and babies and will outright admit they hate responsibility. So they look for rich men to pamper them.

+1 yThat’s not just a dating thing. Westerners overvalue occupation so much that they too quickly define men by what they do, and associate social value with income and earnings potential.
As nice as it might be to actually relax about that during the getting acquainted phase of relationships, we can’t fairly expect women to live up to a standard that MEN don’t live up to ourselves. Can we?00 Reply
+1 yYes it obviously matters to some and not so much to others. Some people are attracted to certain professions. Some women are gold diggers looking for someone with money. Not really their heart.
Love is what should matter. Now. If someone’s job is something that’s immoral or unethical or illegal. That’s a problem

+1 yA lot of women do judge a man's status by what he does. Anything trade-related or requiring "manual labor" is not looked upon as good. Doctors, lawyers, professors, business-owners not only earn money but have status or is "prestigious."

@Alwayreckles93 What does that have to do w/ anything?

I was curious lol I mentioned "some women" the majority don't care lol I'm not lazy I am a Marketing specialist for an international cosmetics company called Surya Brasil.

@Vegasrunner I have worked in Marketing since 2015. I work my ass off, and Marketing is harder than ever. Most of my job entails running Google Ads & analyzing data within Google analytics, budgeting, and creating strategy for our US and Interntional campaigns. I am the project manager for domestic endeavors, the liason to our international agencies. To besmirch those whom you don't know is lazy, and adhominem attacks are very immature. I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavor, and hope you can be more positive in the future!

@Alwayrecles93 Just asking a normal question that any sane human should be able to answer. I don't see anywhere in the question where it ask about your home finances or your degree. Why did you feel the need to bring this up?
2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. Of course it will matter to some. Personally, as long as it is a valid and respectable job, and as long as he will still have plenty of time for family while still being able to provide for a family, I don't much care what the job is.

+1 yIf he treats his co-workers well (extra points if they mention it when he’s not around). Gets along with them. Goes out for meals with them. He’s a good man regardless of what he does. That is someone people want around and it shows.
00 ReplyFor my option, it's just not only women also men do. Cuz if they were married they will have a family and kids. Kids need good Environment to grow up.

@Alwayreckles93 I didn't say that; it is in reference to women who want men to make at least 100 K in NYC and are making plenty themselves.
i value hard work. as long as you are actually a hard working person, and you actually care about doing your job , i respect your job status.
