Should I still give him a chance if he lied about his age?

I really like this guy who I’m just getting to know and I found out he is about half a year younger than me but he lied and told me we are the same age and graduated the same year. I don’t even care about that small of an age difference I just don’t know if I can or should trust him after him lying about something so stupid.

are you sure this wasn't a miscommunication. i'd practically consider someone 6 months younger or older to be the same age anyway.

like if it were 2 years, i'd be concerned. but what if this is just a rounding error.

I mean I wish it was just miscommunication but all I did was ask how old is he and he said 21 and he won’t be 21 for a while so I’m not sure why he would say that. and then when I asked what year he graduated he told me the wrong year
