Superman. :) But Super Sonic is a direct ripoff of Super Saiyans, yeah. The people answering probably didn't get Dragon Ball Z in America until after Sonic the Hedgehog was a thing, though. The original Sega Genesis Sonic trilogy was 1991 to 1994, and Goku didn't become a Super Saiyan in the Western world until 1996-1997, even though it was like 1989-1990 in Japan. So that's probably what's got some people confused. That or they're talking about supersonic speed, in which case, they're correct.
