Mixed signals, what to do?

I faced pretty interesting case, I found a girl online, we talked nicely and found that we have much in common. However, she mentioned that relationship is not for her.

I decided to take a break and contacted her one month later. I was also recovered from my problems and it seems like she noticed that and started to flirt and tell me about her life. She even offered a date as soon as she comes back from semester abroad.

Last call was also sweet, she wished me good luck with my work and complimented my car and driving skills, even though I did not mention it, mb she saw the picture somewhere.

I assume the first encounter was simply test of my asseriveness and confidence? Otherwise I do not get why she would try to confuse me.

Dude, sometimes women act like overgrown children, they'll see something they kinda-like and interact with it for a little, and then get bored and look for the next thing that's closer to there ideal, she didn't like you then because your life wasn't in order (mentally, emotionally, financially) and now she does because she's either trying something out after another failed relationship, or you're just the next guy on that list, either way have fun, I'd just talk to someone else, people who can't make up their mind can't be trusted in my eyes, but that's me, enjoy yourself

Online... half the time people don't know what they are saying. And if one happens to recall something and bring it forward in funny reference, "I didn't say that... who else have you been chatting with etc..." I hate the online garbage.
