A girl approached me at the gym when i had my headphones on and started a conversation, I could tell she was interested in me and the conversation was easy, so I asked for her number which she entered into my phone.

I waited the mandatory day to text and then we spoke a bit. The first day. She took a day to text back so i waited a day. The second conversation she took two days. So I waited two days too. But each time she responded, she replied with like 6-8 messages, even initiating voice messages. Another 2 days have passed and another barrage of messages recieved. I haven't opened them.

What on earth is going on.

If someone takes 2 days to reply, clearly they're not into you , but then I get bombed with messages showing otherwise, also she approached me, had she not I would have carried on my usual life of work train eat sleep repeat.

I also just came out of a toxic relationship 6 months ago and I'm very done with tricks and manipulations. So a huge part of me is screaming, screw it just ghost her / wish her will and say I Don't have time for this

I have a rule when it comes to women my man. "I ONLY give the effort they give me". I would match her energy and then not worry about. That's another rule I have about women. "Never get attached to her until she's given you good reason to get attatched". The REALITY is MOST woman are just going to play games with you. It's what their gender does. And you should never take a game serious. The woman who really wants to know you, be with you, will stop all this nonsense. That woman will make The effort. Just understand those women will be few in number. So expect a lot of nonsense from a lot of women till then.

She still replied days later with 15 messages and voice notes and things but I lost interest. I also realised that just because a chick shows me attention, doesn't mean she's deserves my attention back. Frankly not interested in games and gonna let this fish keep on swimming. Mixed singles can come both from people playing games who get off on toying with your emotions to feed their ego as well as just well meaning people who just don’t know what they want themselves.

Don’t ghost that’s cowardly but you can tell her to leave you alone if it’s getting too much. Tell her to calm down with all the messages and that you enjoyed your time but you don’t feel compatible. Most people will get the message.
