I find these guys will ask for advice and than become offended when you answer and tell you your views are too general or presumptuous. I will usually avoid these conversations.

I would decline. I have found the more opinions added into a situation the worse the outcome.

Yes but I would say to live without regret and trust your gut, not add my opinion into the mix because it never ends well for the two who truly metering the situation
