Have you ever been banned from an online dating site?

Several years ago, I was on a dating site where users answered lots of questions and then the site gave ratings on how compatible your answers matched others.

I dated a few women I met on the site but nothing serious.

After a few months, I decided to no longer date anyone there, but I enjoyed reading the answers from the various women, even when I had no interest in them. So, I changed my profile to say that I wasn't interested in dating but I enjoyed seeing women's answers.

About a week later, I went to logon and found that I had been banned "for violating site rules". I sent an email to the site asking what I had done wrong and got a reply that said some women on the site complained about my profile.

Yeah, OKCupid in 2016-2017 when they went super-woke. It was a shadowban, like they did with thousands of conservative, or in my case, non-Progressive users and profiles. They would tell you "we're having login troubles at the moment" or some kind of technical issue, but no, the f*ggots just ban you. Especially if you're a male. They probably never ban women from any dating sites, even if they were scamming men out of money or criminals.

And although I don't do online dating apps anymore, I recently got a message from someone on Hinge and saw that they updated the app to include a COVID vaccination status on there and they wanted to make users claim if they've been vaccinated or not, and the closest thing to not vaccinated users could say was "Not yet, but soon." It was so f*cking cringe, and I wouldn't use that app again, even if I wanted to.

I got banned once from one very specialty site a long while back because they legit search their members (really?) and said they found my involvement in the adult industry... like honestly girls don't usually give a fuck or if anything are intrigued and want to find out more 😉🤣

I did get my profile deleted off bumble a bunch but just made blank I wasn't banned. They are just total cucks you can't say shit on bumble like no fat women, can't say anything sexual that's normal like "call me daddy" but girls can post they want to peg a man or into poly. Wtf! It's a total gay app.

I do great on Tinder and on religious dating apps.

I’ve been banned from tinder twice I’m pretty sure. As to why, I have no idea. I never posted lewd photos or any photos showing too much skin on my profile, never put hate speech or anything offensive in my bio, and never personally attacked anyone that I matched with. I think some people just got bored and started spam reporting my profile.

I have used probably 10 different sites over the past 15 years and I've never been banned.

Never banned, but I did have one remove my profile picture years ago because "it promotes violence," but wouldn't give any clarification. My best guess is that it was because of a hunting trophy off in the background because otherwise there was nothing even remotely of the sort.

I think I got banned from Tinder once because I think at the time, this is years ago, I'm ashamed to say I was too into a particular fetish which I'm no longer into at all (women receiving anal, me the top) and I think my profile specifically stated I was looking for that in a match. Needless to say, that's how I think I got banned and haven't been back on tinder ever since.

And yes I think enough women also had complained about me for my (at the time) anal fetish in my profile bio. I'm no longer into anal or any fetishes. I blame my silly earlier 20s foolishness. Now I'm much more respectable if I'm ever on a different dating app.

Yes and I won't say which one it was but it was very elitist, if you didn't look attractive enough or make enough money they would ban you. I made enough money but the moment I uploaded a photo, I got a message moments later saying my account had been banned.

I was banned from Quora for saying that Borderline Personality Disorder is not treatable (it isn't). A bunch of women on there with BPD took exception to what I wrote and had me banned.

Part of the problem with this disorder is that nobody wants to treat it because the women that have it are so dangerous to providers who are trying to help them - assaults, falses accusations, seductions, the whole bag of dirty tricks.

I mean, why would they go to all of the trouble of designing a personality matching test if the people aren't going to get married? The whole point of those tests is to make sure people are compatible to reduce their chances of divorce.
