What are some green flags for you?

Since we're talking on here more about red flags 🚩 So this insta pic made me think why don't we collect some green flags 🤔

Personally what comes to my mind right now is the asking if you got home, other questions about the personal well being and wishes, dreams, family and friends aka real interest in me as a person.

Also open communication and someone who is direct! Who speaks up if he has a problem with me.

Feeling comfortable and that I don't have to wonder about his intentions.

A confident person who doesn't need me but wants me, trusta me and so therefore he isn't controlling or unhealthy possessive! Giving me the freedom in a relationship.

⁍ When we’re in the car and he has to hit the brakes due to an emergency that was not his fault, and he reaches his arm across my shoulders or chest (not grab my boobs!) as a protective instinct. It makes me feel so safe w/him.
⁍ A guy who can make me laugh just by BEING a naturally funny person, but he’s not the type who’s constantly telling me jokes! THAT is not the “sense of humor” we want.
⁍ A guy who opens the car door for me, instead on just hitting the “unlock” on the fob and yelling out “It’s unlocked”, and who opens the door at the restaurant for me.

But I do have a relevant RED flag…. When women answer questions about things we like or appreciate about what guys do on dates, and then other guys hit REPLY to say that THEY do those things, and ask if they can date me! That’s SO cheesy, desperate, and lame.

i love the 'checking when you get home' thing because i do it with my friends all the time - but yeah i'm not sure about specific green flags but in general just having similar views, being polite, good relationship with family and friends, not being too clingy or dependent and not wanting to spend 24/7 together, good communication, normal things like that you know?

When she isn't afraid to show a little vulnerability early on, even on the first date. Being too guarded is generally a bad sign in my experience.

She will offer to pay her share on a first date, and when I let her she still wants a second date. That's a biggie for me. Not because I expect her to pay for stuff... I actually don't mind paying for dates, but that's not the point here. It means she's not a judgmental, entitled, self-important hypocrite like so many modern women are, and she's sensitive to the bullshit women put men though in this context today.

Being open and honest, not being afraid to say something that's on her mind, be it good or bad.

She is easy going, great personality and down to earth. A good talk. This is probably best green flag there is for me.

When she gets my jokes.

Healthy lifestyle, doesn't drink (or just rarely with moderation) and doesn't smoke or do drugs.

She doesn't like wearing too much make up (sometimes it can look nice, but so many women overdo it nowadays)

There are probably many more i didn't think of now.

Them being a bad texter is lowkey a green flag, Social media made people forget flaws and conflicts are normal, red flags can turn into green flags…etc

1. You feel safe with them. 2. They call you out on your crap, kindly. 3. They’re generous. 4. Taking responsibility for mistakes without being self conscious about it Theses be green flags.

The checking when you get home thing is sweet.. Some greens flags for me would be like you mentioned taking genuine interest in me, following up on things I told her, going along with my stupid jokes.. LOL.. Remembering at least half of what I told her before..

• she is actually into me
• she has a sense of justice, no taking advantage or gold digging

Open, not afraid of who he really is

doesn't really spend time impressing you

Great sense of humour, similar to mine, in my case sarcasm and dirty jokes/black humour

Brave, justice lover... probably there are some more
