I think most guys are quite cynical about relationships with today's women, and especially marriage. We have grown up in a time when women have become very self important and entitled, half of marriages end in divorce, women initiate 70% - 80% of them and it's common knowledge that men get screed in divorce court and child custody.

The only way I would get serious about a woman is if she is clearly different from most modern women. That is, she is more traditionally minded in terms of her views of men, family and relationships and openly acknowledges and expresses her distaste for what most women have become today and what they have done to marriage.

I just expect to have a supportive female, not someone who's going to be like a nagging boss or an uptight authority figure. Someone who's just cool and calm, like me and pitches in to do equal chores, equal housework, you know.

Surely that's what any sane guy wants 🤣

In my experience guys want to be needed, loved, valued, appreciated and admired.

They also want loyalty, good sex and good food.

That kind of sums it up from what I can tell.
