No, not at all. In 2022 and beyond it means he simply took you out for a date interview and payed for his own meal, while you paid for yours. Good old days where guy pays for everything are Gone!
That's just one coffee. Try taking him out again. If he does the same, then yeah he's probably stingy about money. That's not a bad thing, unless it's because he's broke. Don't date broke people. It's hard. #ImBrokeToo
he might be either tired of paying, esp for those that are looking for a free meal, it has happened to me, or he may be one that believe things sshould be equal between men & women, or he may be cheap.
Actually, he was checking if you are broke... or greedy. If she won't pay for a simple coffee? He will be stuck forever paying for everything... is it worth it now?
You are 35. Why would you ask this question? It should not surprise you? The age range in which you Date have too many College Pukes. Too much Marxist, Leftist teachings.

You can't draw any conclusions from that, just like I couldn't say you're a cheapskate gold-digger who couldn't pay for her own coffee and expects a man to do everything for her.
It's 21st century. You paid for your own coffee. It's completely normal. Don't act like he's bad cause he didn't pay. Cause why should he if he doesn't want to? He barely even knows you.

i don’t understand why you would think so? You didn’t buy him coffee either. I’m not being snarky I don’t understand why you want to be “paid” for?
W was a typo. I tbh k I was probably going to write “why “ then I didn’t.

Its hard to tell just like that, they may be unaware or the like, or heard diffrent stuff
I think should see more stuff around tonreally know so or so
Actually, he was checking if you are broke... or greedy. If she won't pay for a simple coffee? He will be stuck forever paying for everything... is it worth it now?
Several possibilities.
1. Stingy
2. Not into you.
3. Doesn't believe a man should pay for both.
He may be stingy. But a junior in stinginess vis-a-vis you, who didn't pay for his coffee + wanted your coffee paid by another person.
If he wants to learn more stinginess, he may hire you as his mentor.
maybe the date didn't go well?
or you said or did something that showed up as a red flag?

See how that works?
I don’t know I would think so but maybe he was just nervous and forgot to offer to pay 🤷🏻♀️
I'm going to pretend I never saw this and what was written in here. Happy place, happy place, happy place.
Its hard to tell, and it could be for many reasons, all very valid. I can't imagine wanting strangers to pay for you, so maybe im biased.
No, it shows that YOU are a stingy person, because you can't even be bothered to pay for something that YOU consumed.
I'm guessing he paid for his own, whats your excuse?
Did you pay for his coffee? If not are you stingy or do you simply not care? Guess it can't be the latter else you wouldn't ask here lol
It's just a stupid coffee. If the rest of the date was great then it shouldn't matter
Yea I’d be done with him. Let me ask you this did he ask you to the coffee date?

Yes, I think he's absolutely stingy, and you should consider dating a different guy.
Did he invite you? In that case, yes, it seems quite stingy.
