we were way younger both... and it wasn't lies about how many people she had slept or not... more like being unclear on misleading about who with, and how/why their relationship ended
she just had a terrible experience with it, and I found out about by chance, and not by her (someone else mentioned it to me, while she was right there) so she really wasn't ready to talk about it at all, was not even considering to do so, but then she had to clarify things or felt like she had to, so... in the moment, she just could not get herself to be completely honest, and then she did not feel ready to come out clean about it
it was till a few days later when I said, something was definitely bothering her and that I wanted to know, that we should talk about it, and then we just did... so yeah, I'm about understand things, and that's we did
that one talk that one night... was vital for the build-up of our trust in each other, it really made a difference for all the better
now, other kinds of lies that would be more "problematic" or way more insidious or tricky, I do not think I would like that at all...
