I don't think so.
Society is still VERY Paternalistic to where they stupidly value men more than women!
Women are often STILL valued for their reproductive abilities and youth, not so much on career success.
It's sad. I wish we would get out of the STONE AGE mentality finally! I can't wait for that day to happen, but I doubt it will be, considering just the results of your poll!
If that were true, then there would be a lot more 60-year-olds with 20 year olds. But the fact that the vast majority of women are not going to want a man more than 20 years older than her unless it's specifically for his money.
No, the graph says we have a peak between 30-50
Yeah, the fantasy for men is that they will all magically be multimillionaires in their middle age who are surrounded by college girls... but a lot of them get to that age still fetishizing the age range of women they see in porn (18-25) but are unable to access them because they are just an average joe, now with wrinkles, a large percentage of mutated sperm cells, and a rapidly receding hairline!
This kind of graph does a huge disservice to men because they don't seriously date until they are middle-aged thinking they have all the time in the world and then they don't end up as wealthy as they'd hoped, and they haven't taken care of their looks like women are pressured into doing, so they look older than the women their own age who've been getting light botox since age 33! So they struggle to even gain the interest of women their own age, let alone 20-somethings!
I used to work at a dermatology clinic and the skincare craze of the past 30 years paired with the popularity of botox is really starting to show between older men and women. We'd have women coming in for Fraxel treatments who looked 45 at 65 and then we'd have 65-year-old men coming in who never moisturized, washed their faces with bar soap, and never wore SPF on their face and looked 85 at 65 with extensive precancerous lesions that need to be removed.
It's going to take a LOT of work and planning for men to make their Hugh Hefner fantasies into reality. But for now, women are far outpacing men when it comes to aging gracefully!
@Minxxie Neither men nor women are aging gracefully in Western societies.
A quick cursory google search reveals that almost 70% of Canadian adults are obese or overweight.
Most men and females look worn out by the time they are 30. Stress; overeating, processed foods and animal based diets; and overworking likely don't help. Add to that fundamental flaws in the Western health paradigm and attitudes, thinking health comes from pill popping or at the end of a needle.

The graph is true in my experience. Older women have less desire for sex (it doesn't disappear altogether, just that they want sex less often) while my libido stays the same, and sometimes increases.
@AviatorTom, I think the graph is accurate too. Also, I’ve read online a few times that a women's sex drive is at its highest between their 30s and early 40s (which I would agree with).
There is some truth zibtjis, but it’s a very incomplete picture and certainly doesn't take individuals into account
In purely biological terms, the argument is that women's value is in their younger years, and men in their older. ie baby making versus stability and ability to provide.
Fortunately, we don't solely interact with each other in purely biological terms.
Yes, it's mostly true, and most women become "less desirable" the moment they hit 30 or com close to it, while most men become "more desirable" between 35 to 40. However, "more desirable" doesn't mean "desirable."
Not true. Stop looking at graphs and go outside, touch some grass. It is embarrassing to see how many people still believe women finding love after hitting 30 is a myth.
Yes. Most women on this site will tell you the opposite but they're just angry that it's true.🤣🤣🤣
Guys are generally more patient after 30, more established in thier careers. The 40's are typically a man's prime income earning years. And we know how women like money.🤣🤣🤣
Conversely after 30, at least by 40 a woman's attractiveness wanes. And if she hasn't got a good personality to make up for her physical deficiencies. She quickly finds her dance cart empty.
Wether you admit it or not it’s obviously true
Sometimes I wonder whether both would be less desirable after 30. It's my belief. And I'm almost 30.
Society still views women with their role as baby incubator and mother.
Males for their providing abilities.
Very old and backwards thinking but like they say, old habits die hard!
@TenderFantasy and muscle mass for men I've heard supposedly begins ending from 30 or 35. Lol. 😅
Keep believing that nonsense if it makes you feel better about yourself. I guess you need all the help you can get.
I’m honestly in my 20s now struggling to date but I saw this and it gave me hope I guess sorry
It depends. There will ALWAYS be desparate women willing to date and fuck anything with a dick, regardless of his age.
When it comes to young women and being baby crazy/family crazy, there you have it!
@Asker
I mean--take a look around. It's pretty fucking obvious. I'm always impressed by the number of people who try to deny objectively observable facts because they feel like those facts don't support some random ideological belief they hold.
Yes, it's obviously true. Study after study shows it to be fact. But it's not what we always see in the real world due to societal pressures for people to date people their same age.
Studies can be false you know and some wishful thinking.
And there's nothing wrong with dating people your same age. Women and men shouldn't give in to outside pressure to date. It's a personal thing!
It’s wicked media conspiracy male producers have accomplished. Remember all the 90s sitcoms? Fat middle aged men with hot stay at home wives. Wolf…
Yeah in 1988.
It's true. Of course a lot of women are going to deny it and give their opinion from the female perspective. But the data's there to support it
For men its not about age it's about net worth. Women are attracted to money not men.
for sure, after 30 and successful we are a snack
i dont think its strictly true
For me that's true about men.
Not really, no.
