4.9K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. You're confusing "relationship attraction" and "physical/sexual attraction." And, while, yes, you aren't going to be as physically attractive at 30 as you were at 20, that's not the main problem.
The issue is that Feminism has taught women to wait until their 30s before they look for a serious relationship, and they're told that they'll be just as attractive - maybe even MORE attractive - at that age and won't have any trouble finding a relationship. That is a lie.
You won't have any trouble finding men who want to bang you in your 30s - that's true enough - but finding men willing to COMMIT to a serious relationship is a whole different thing.

Average Social Market Value (SMV), by sex and age This graph shows average SMV, which you can think of as "relationship value". This is different from general human value/personal value, and also different from sexual value - instead, it's a representation of how you are valued by the opposite sex for a RELATIONSHIP.
Note that men start at zero, and are below 10 (out of 100) through their teens. This is because men have to build their value themselves, by developing their personalities and their careers and resources, which takes work and time. Women's SMV skyrockets in her teens as a result of becoming fertile and being able to have children, rising far higher than any man and peaking around 22/23 years old - around the time that she is the most fertile and still has lots of fertility in front of her. At this age, she can attract men from 16-60, and has the highest likelihood to find a high-quality relationship partner for a life-long relationship.
This incredibly high SMV cannot last, however, and begins to fall as she gets into her later 20s and her best fertile years tick by. Meanwhile, men are finally starting to get some real traction, and their value is finally starting to rise significantly. The cross-over point is around age 30, where women's SMV drops below men's. This is referred to as "hitting the wall" - it's the age where everything changes for women, at least as far as relationship value goes (again, NOT human value or sexual value). No, it's not literally on your 30th birthday exactly, but around your 30th birthday.
Around this age, you'll find yourself getting less attention from men overall. When you walk into a room, you're no longer the center of attention like you used to be - it will be younger women that are now getting that attention, even from older men that you assume will be "your" men. Sure, you can use your sexuality to get attention, but you're largely only going to get SEXUAL attention from most men, not romantic or relationship attention. Guys will still bang you, but they're much less interested in being in a relationship with you - and that goes double for the men you really WANT.
Even worse, Feminism has taught you that your education and your career increases your value. Well, it may increase your value to the government, who wants to tax and control you, but it does NOT increase your value to men - in fact, it often makes you LESS valuable to men, because you burned through your most fertile years going to school and working on your career, and you've also gotten further indoctrinated by Feminism and being a "strong, independent woman" - which men equate to "only good for having casual sex with."
Men would much rather wife up a 22-year-old girl making minimum wage doing check-out at Walgreens than a 32-year-old "independent woman", because that 22-year-old girl is almost certainly going to have a lower body count, a better attitude, will be far less jaded, and won't have already seen and done everything, so they can enjoy discovering new things together.

This isn't to say that a woman over 30 can't find a relationship AT ALL - but she's going to have to lower her standards and accept men far lower down the scale than she's used to dealing with. In her 20s, she could demand very high-SMV men and have a decent chance of getting them, and if she was willing to go for "only" a 85/100 man, she'd have little trouble getting a relationship from one. By her early 30s, 85/100 men are well beyond her grasp. They'll still bang her, but they won't be committing to her.
Her choices are likely a middle-class blue-collar man near her age, or an above-average man who is at least 10 years older than she is, perhaps 15-20 years older. Most women reject this, and keep trying for the young, high-SMV men, and keep getting used and dumped (or ghosted), and then complain that all men are jerks - but in the end, they never get the guy they want.
Asker+1 yI’m turning 24 this is scary but I don’t party or sleep around..

You've still got time to find a great partner, but you need to take some initiative and date with intention - if you want a family, you need to only date men who also want a family, and someone who understands that sooner is better than later.
Don't be the girl who is still looking for Mr. Perfect at 35 - that's a recipe for dying alone.

1. She will still get attention and sex if she is attractive.
2. Good men that want a relationship and to create and raise a family will be VERY unlikely to be interested in her.
Most women can't tell the difference between a man being interested in her only for sex/short term, and one that wants to be with her long term. They think that every man hitting on them is interested in a relationship, which they often are not. That is why so many end up feeling used and don't understand why. They are not desirable to good men anymore once they are not LTR material.
Then they give bad advice to younger women, wanting them to sleep around and party when they are young because they resent the fact that they wasted their own youth and now have almost no chance of finding a good mate for a long term relationship.
Almost every time I have turned down a woman that was past 30, she got quite upset and hostile, even though I just tell them that I don't think we are compatible, unless they ask for specific reasons why, then I will tell them, and it makes them very angry.

Asker+1 yYeah sometimes I think it’s a myth because my coworker is 34 and guys hit on her even tho she’s married with kids. I’m 23 and aware I’m still young but I plan to take care of myself as I grow older

How many men approach you is irrelevant, because they're approaching you for SEX. What matters is how many are looking to commit to a relationship to you, and that's a far smaller number than when you were in your 20s, whether you are aware of it or not.
Don't confuse sexual attention for relationship attention - they're two very different things.

1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. LOL That sure wasn't true for me. When I was in my mid to late 30s, a couple of the hottest girlfriends I ever had in my life were in their 30s. They were amazing.
Admittedly, I wasn't attracted to "older" women when I was in my teens and 20s. But that's because I was still a kid who thought anyone over 30 was old. I laugh when I think about that.
Women in their 30s and older can look hot af if they take care of themselves. And I read about one study that said women are at their sexual peak between 27 and 45. They had more frequent and more intense sexual fantasies than younger or older women. They also had more sex and were more likely to have it sooner in a relationship.
Ages 30-32 are even ideal for women to begin families. But if I guy isn't interested in starting a family, women in their 30s and 40s make fantastic partners.20 ReplyI think what we're attracted to changes over time. When I was younger, looks were more important. As I get older, I find I'm annoyed by immature behavior and prefer older women. They're beautiful and the drama has been sorted out.
I seem to only meet younger women. I wish I knew were the 30+ crowd hung out. They'd be my preference.

+1 yIt’s much more dependent on the woman’s age then the man’s age but yes older women are less attractive by quite a bit too. I personally will never consider a serious relationship with a woman over 25 really even younger than that tbh more like 21

Asker+1 yThat’s your preference but literally a year over makes no difference if she takes care of herself and isn’t a partier/drinker and is active. I get what you’re saying cause some women can heavily age with those habits quickly but there’s women who can look wonderful in mid to late 20s if they take care of themselves. I never drink really and don’t smoke at all and don’t wear makeup either, exercise everyday

u sound like the type of girl who wouldn’t be as penalized by this. Basically if ur the type of girl who picked guys mainly based on sex appeal when she was younger ur gonna struggle a lot when ur older if u didn’t do that and ur honest with ur self that u didn’t it’s gonna be harder as u get older. It’s not about the actual looks so much as it is about body count and how peoples personalities change with age. One year doesn’t matter so much ur right but 5-10 years is a big difference.

U seem like a nice lady tho so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. But if u were the type of girl who refused to date men under 6ft when u were 18-21 then it’s likely you’ll struggle. Basically the more shallow u were with who u wanted to date when u were younger the more you’ll struggle if u genuinely were not shallow in the slightest then you probably won’t struggle as much with age.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySupposedly, a woman's fertility begins to decline in her 30s. Not that it's super important, but it's something you might want to consider if the guy you're with hopes to start a family with you. And maybe that's why men are hardwired to date younger women.
I don't think you should be alarmed by that, though. Plenty of guys are out there that just want a partner to settle down with, and women seem to maintain their beauty well into their 40s and beyond, if you're concerned about physical attractiveness.
Just avoid picking up guys at the bar, don't sleep around with too many partners, value your femininity and stay fit. You can't lose.
10 ReplyYeah, it's mostly true. Women's looks peak at 23 and they lose most of their attractiveness by 30 (on average). I don't care about looks that much myself, but I'm just speaking in general. Women age way worse than most men do.

It depends. I see women in their late 30's (at least) on the daily in the morning out running who are far more desirable than the 20-year-old beached whales that I see later in the day.
