A girl has won me over before, but then she "iced" the situation, so it didn't go any further. She said something really sweet that touched my heart, and I felt like we had a real connection there; and I tried to continue it, but she shut it down.

I don't remember exactly what the thing was that she said, because unfortunately the experience as a whole ended up being registered as a negative one since it was so disappointing, so my trauma reflexes deleted the memory.
