If I dated a rich guy - I think talking about it would in most cases do more harm than good. People might be jealous, try to sabotage things, think I'm a gold digger, think I'm lazy, think I lied, think I don't actually like the guy, want to steal him from me, or try to force a relationship even if I one day decide the guy is abusive and I want to leave. They might also assume I'm sleeping with him to explain his interest in me.
