Why do almost every girl like guys who drink and smoke?

I have always seen girls love guys who smoke and drink heavily. I don't smoke and drink rarely.

However, in conversations, I have seen girls' faces always light up if somehow the topics of smoking and drinking come up, especially at my age. Except for very few almost all the guys in my friend circle who are very good with women are both heavy smokers and drinkers. On dates, if I mention I don't smoke the girls get turned off instantly.

I was talking with a girl and when the conversation went to this, she asked if I smoke. For testing, I had lied that I do, and her reply was "thank god you smoke, I thought you are one of those boring people". So I had to cut her off as she only sees smoking as something cool otherwise boring.

I was searching on the internet about this, and apparently, scientific studies even agree with this. So It may be true to an extent.

Smoking and drinking doesn’t automatically make someone bad.

I personally don't like smokers, its stinks, tastes gross if you kiss them, pointless and a waste of money... and hate breathing in smoke when you are in the same room... >_>

Well, the research suggests otherwise, not applied to the very girls but certainly, a majority do...

Well I most certainly have never liked smoking, but drinking in extreme moderation is acceptable.

I don’t smoke or drink. Matter of fact that’s one of the reasons my girlfriend - now my wife - was very interested in me 🙂👍

That's what the research said, women like men who smoke for short-term dating, for long-term the want otherwise.

Research and my personal experience suggest otherwise. However there are girls that do not like them but they are very minority or older.

In this country, less than 8% of adults smoke, so I never see anyone doing it.
