Someone who's only seeking money from a man has a lot of blinders on. Probably, they're very young. More than likely, they're from an underprivileged and poorly educated background. They're living on a diet of media influencers, TikTok and Instagram, where everyone's shiny and perfect and they desire those shiny, perfect lives, even though they've done nothing to deserve them.

They see and hear Cardi B, a former prostitute, sing about how they need to "get that cash" and sell themselves to do it, because that's what SHE did and she's "successful." I am not sure it's just gold diggers, or people in general. But I agree with you that most people, to include gold diggers, are single and struggling with it because they can't get out of their own way. They keep making the same mistakes and getting the same results... because to them doing anything else would be settling and they think too much of themselves to ever settle. So, in the end I think it comes down to ego. Some people think they are really valued that high and therefore deserving of everything, because anything less devalues them. The issue is that they rarely are as valued as highly as they think, but men will feed that ego just to get want they want.

So, in this case it might be you that is the problem if you keep finding gold diggers, because you are making the same mistakes and not doing some self-analyst on yourself to figure out what mistakes you are making.
