That is only taking height and wealth into the equation, let's not forget all the other things that women clamor for in dating profiles such as a sense of humor (most people are not witty and quick on their feet) and so on.
And women consider 80% of men to be ugly. So, assuming a normal distribution, men who are over 6’ and make six figures, 2.32% are left. Throw in athletic and good looking, and you’re probably below 0.1% of men meeting women’s minimum standards.
Then they want mutually exclusive characteristics. He should be well established in his career, but not over thirty. Or, they should make six figures, but not work too much.
All true, which is why I have ZERO sympathy for modern women.
Isn't it odd that these supposed stats never mention whether or not women value high IQ in men?
Why do women want Tall men? I mean, I get the money, kindness, looks, intelligence, personality, etc. but why height? taller people are generally less healthy. Honestly I have never seen an analog of this in men:

Okay. For some women height matters. For some women salary matters. For others not so much.
What you need to find is a woman who accepts you for you. If a woman don’t want you. Move on. You can’t force someone to love you.

What's going on with women right now is a phase. They're not stupid, they grew up looking at divorces and seeing women who weren't really that promiscuous get slut shamed and be accessories to men. Meanwhile there are women now who live "masculine" lifestyles and seemingly love it.
I'm not a feminist, and I disagree with a lot of the "toxic masculinity" crap, but there's something to be said in the sense that it has some of truth to it.
The simple truth is women are like this today now because men don't act like men anymore and they have devalued themselves to the point that all women see in them is sex and money.

I don't blame them, they'd almost be stupid not to be thinking like that at this point.
The point I'm trying to make is that women have these unrealistic expectations because they don't believe in the dream of finding a man who genuinely loves THEM, sees them as a priority and is selfless.
Men today are like children. They will spend $300 on a stupid gaming chair and some blue lights when they're broke instead of talking to their girl. And then some of them go so far as to want the women to take care of the house and chores after coming home from work. And then they want the woman to basically be his personal whore.
Which would probably be a lot sexier to some of them if the guy didn't act like such a child.
And when men act like children, what are they good for? So it's no wonder women look for the tallest, most in shape, most well employed and charismatic guys.
I really don't think a majority of women are gold digging whores, I think they're just conditioned by the way society is changing and in time, men and women's roles and mentalities will change. Hopefully improve.

I'm not saying that men aren't generally better spenders, I'm saying that men don't behave in a way that would make a woman want to behave in a traditional way. It simply doesn't work.
And to the best of my knowledge these studies don't take into account how drastically culture around this has changed in the last 5 years.
Most of the people I know who I would consider men are either old or grew up with values from a foreign country.
Ant just as a quick point. I hate when people say "he's talking in generalizations!" obviously this whole conversation is a generalization. Like what? We're having a conversation about sociatal norms, this isn't a personal attack directed at anyone and just my observations.
Men and women always had their downsides and there are a few reasons I would call that out as a bad example.
Firstly, contrary to popular belief while it was FAR more common back then, it was not seen as appropriate and these men were generally treated worse for their bad behavior and of course were seen as far less deseriable than a regular man. Today, if a man beats a woman it's generally OK as long as they grew up in a bad area and are rich.
Tory lanes, tiger woods, Pete Davidson are all examples of people who totally disrespect their partner and are open about it. Which back then was far less common.
It's easy for us to look back at that time and say they treated women like property, I don't think that's how they saw it. I think they saw it as more of a responsibility to provide food, shelter, financial security. It was a man's role to sacrifice his own happiness for the betterment of his wife and kids. How many guys today do you think could handle that kind of stress in their mid 20's without having a mental breakdown or turning into a total loser?
And keep in mind, outside appearance mattered WAY more back then.

Men back then were expected to respect women, they were expected to have respect for themselves. Also it's worth mentioning that hitting people in general was way less of a big deal back then. Teachers used to beat children and parents almost encouraged it.
The men spending money foolishly are the very ones who attract the women. When I was 19 and flat broke, I drove a raggedy, 12-year-old Buick. Now that I make six figures and put the legal maximum into my IRA and 401(k), I drive a raggedy 12-year-old Honda. If I’m off work, I’m dressed in shorts and flip flops.

I wouldn't consider being able to afford maxing out your 401k and being able to walk around in shorts and flip-flops foolish. While I don't agree with stupid specifics, like "if he isn't above six-foot one he isn't worth my time," something that should be acknowledged is that for most women, the desire for a man who is taller than them is just attraction and biology, not a picky judgment. I think most guys prefer it if their girls are shorter than them, don't they? Men and women have had unrealistic expectations of each other since always, and they've rarely been fair. But if it's only attraction, there's not much we can do about it. It is good to bring awareness to it, though. On both ends. Because while it's fine to have a preference, you shouldn't start expecting that of everyone you meet.
By the way, are these stats current? I live in a really small town but I haven't met any men or boys under sixteen who are shorter than 5"11

No, most guys don't care about height, neither do most girls for that matter.
Being picky is good when it comes to mental compatability, but even for someone like me who has a laundry list for that, things like height, ethnicity, income, status, success, I couldn't care less about those when picking a girlfriend, and doing so would give me unrealistic odds even though I have a bigger than average dick and will be in the 16% income bracket fairly soon, because it would remove most of the mentally compatible women to be picky about those things.
I'd date a girl whether she was 4 and a half feet or 6 and a half feet, as long as she's attractive, I really just don't care about height, its such a pointless stat in my opinion. Preportions matter to an extent, but I don't care if they are scaled up or down.
Rural, small town men are typically taller, have lower intelligence, less likely to be monogamous, and not as healthy. I live in a dutch immigrant town where few women are under 5'11.

Are you trying to say that women should settle for second best, because that’s all they’re going to get, because most men are stupid and short? Because that’s not true. I agree that you shouldn’t pursue men for wealth or beauty, but I highly value intelligence, humour, kindness, generosity and being at least my height or taller than me. If a man doesn’t meet my standards, I’d rather be alone than settle for someone who I think isn’t good enough. That’s not fair to him or to me.
I'm trying to get you to think of how realistic your standards are if you want a guy who is 6 ft tall and makes six figures. 14.5% and then 16%. You then have to cut that down even further by narrowing the age range, personality and looks. At the end of all this you're going to be searching for a statistical anomaly and likely either have to settle or be single.
**Yawn**... Keep your "standards" and end up alone as a miserable cat lady. This is the trajectory of most women these days. Soon you will realize that sane women landed a good man in their 20's which has made their lives permanently easier and happier. I look at it this way I’m 411 so my chances of the person that I’m going to be with is going to be taller than me doesn’t matter 6or5 just not my height. The average woman isn’t even my height. Don't take this the wrong way, but I believe that height percentage is outdated. I believe the percentage now is twice or even three times that. For every 5'9 guy there are 4 more that are 6 feet or over.
