Why are the majority of guys on dating apps from India?

I've tried a few dating apps recently, due to a lack of dating options around me IRL, and I noticed immediately that my matches, and just guys on them in general, are overwhelmingly all from India, like, 70% and I was curious as to why other people think this might be. To clarify, this isn't a judgment or a complaint. People everywhere have every right to try dating apps and look for relationships. But I did find it a bit strange, as I was expecting the percentage to lean more heavily on white men.

That's not to say this might not be just my personal experience. But if you've noticed it as well, or have any ideas, I would be interested to hear them.

for some reason I always thought they would be somewhat limited to your specific region or area... lol

seems a bit pointless to match with people in Australia, India, Argentina or Morocco... if you live in Canada, lol

If your looking for a partner why are you using global dating apps? Set yourself a reasonable travel distance then do some research on what people are using in your area.

The ones I tried require you to pay for that. So I'm trying to look for one where you can do that for free. Anyway, as I said I'm not complaining, I was just surprised by the ratio of guys from India to guys from the States or Canada.

I was pretty reluctant to try them. But I have little to no dating options where I live. I live in the forest, far out of town, and that town is tiny, I only go in twice a week, if that, and there are no opportunities to actually meet anyone.
