I worked under him, he was my supervisor.

When he left this was early 2021. He looked at me for a while, I ignored him, then I looked back at him and he said bye. And that was that.  We’ve been through so much together, and I couldn’t pull the guts to say or showcase how I felt I regretted this for the rest of these years. He was never to be seen or heard of, again.

I’d say just let him know. It doesn’t matter if it was a year ago. If you still have feelings for him, it’s important to let him know. Otherwise, you’ll regret never even trying.

Ohh girl, I feel you. I have been in similar situations where I have ignored all the signs yet haven't made a move and regretted it later. We've all been there. You are not alone.

With the context provided, I also feel like it's kinda too late now. I won't give you hopes but it's never too late to like a couple of pictures of him and start a conversation, you know. You'll probably get a chance to confess in between. It's a long shot but worth trying it.

Is it someone you still like or just someone you used to like? Also, how good of friends are you? I've had friends tell me they liked me when we first met but because I was oblivious to it they moved on. I've also told friends that once upon a time I used to have a crush on them. That gets a lot easier though when those feelings are in the past and you have a solid friendship with them. If you still like them, I'd recommend telling them that you like them now, not focusing on a year ago.
