In the beginning of our relationship he showed affection, and made sure I knew how much I meant to him. I did cheat on him once but we talked about it deeply and decided to keep moving forward. But afterwards everything has been different. I don’t know if it’s because we’ve been together for awhile, and he feels like he doesn’t have to put in the effort. Every time I try talking about it with him, he gets defensive. Our conversations are really short/dry with eachother even when I send a paragraph he’ll just reply with okay. The only time he shows me affection is when he wants to have sex. Can someone please give me advice on how to handle this?

I would say if you still want to be with him. Just be patient with him. Keep having the tough conversation eventually he will come around. Love him even when it’s hard
