Depends how hot she is. I say on dating apps that if she's not at least a 7 out of 10 in looks, I'll only want to fuuck and nothing more. I've been specific too. Depends on context. in my opinion if he has controversial views about sex.. anything from waiting till marriage to BDSM to open rels.. he should talk about sex on the first date. If he's just doing sexual talk then he's after sex or values sex more than the person.

I think it depends on the context of how he is talking about it.

For me, it might be something I bring up because I am still a virgin and want to wait until marriage. A compatible woman, even if experienced herself, would understand and support that.

If he’s talking about it outside of something like that then he’s probably focused on it and expects it in a relationship.

For me, I don't like to talk about sex on the first date. I value emotional connections and compatibility first, so I'll usually try to get to know someone first. First date definitely shouldn't be the time to ask about it, unless both parties are just super comfortable with a casual fling, or hypersexual in general. Furthest thing a first date should ever go to is a hug, but that's just my opinion.

The syntax of the question is ambiguous. Was he on a first date, talking about sex. or was he talking about "sex on the first date?" Either way, the context is important. I won't have sex on a first date, and if a girl gets a bit too flirtatious I might verbalize that precisely because sex is not all I want. Granted I might be an outlier in this. There is also the fact that a lot of people get jittery with new people and sometimes say stupid things.
