My longest relationship was Debby. I met her and we started dating in 1985. We go married in 1987 and divorced in 2004. Nineteen years with her. Horrible mistake but I didn't want to quit.
How long was your longest relationship?

23 years and counting.
Before that, 3 years.
Before that, 3 x 6 month.
20 years, we’d be going on 30 years by now had he not passed away (it’ll be 10 years this October)
@exitseven thanks 🤗
I was married for 20+ years, three kids, before an amicable divorce.
My relationships seem to last longer the older I get. When I was in my 20s, mostly they lasted 1-4 months, then in my 30s that grew to around a year. Now, my longest relationship was 5 years. But also, I've been a bit more flexible and some of the relationships I've had before are still kind of ongoing, I will hook up here and there with previous lovers, or start talking again and also just being chill about the parameters of a relationship. It's really just interaction.
You are becoming older and wiser!
@belle_kai not in the traditional sense of "settle down" i. e. get married and have kids. I've got a lot of adventurous goals and also I'm not interested in being obligated to someone. I do enjoy the stability of having more "permanent" partner (s), but it's always by choice rather than obligation, out of desire rather than need. I also have plans for the future which involve real estate and long term community building, which is to my mind fairly "settled".
About 2.5 years. Kinda glad to not have wasted even more time with someone who wasn't right for me. It's not like if you're married for 30 years and divorce it means your marriage was a waste, I don't think that's true for grown adults in long-term relationships. But for young people, it can be detrimental because if you have been dating the same guy since you were 14 or married to the same man since 18 and then you see yourself single in your 20's or 30's again then you may find yourself having no dating skills and struggling significantly compared to your peers.
Almost four years, from 2019 to current year. Although she likes to "backdate" it from when we met in school, in 2011. In her opinion the years of friendship count too.
I've been in it for the past 26+ years. I was lucky to marry such a great gal.
@AmandaYVR I beat you guys … if it were a competition… but it’s not.
@wittymilf Well done... and so true. Words with friends, innit.
I've never been in a relationship and probably won't be. I'm thirty two, post brain cancer surgery, can't drive a care due to possible seizures and have no experience what so ever. I'm not the type to approach any more as I've been rejected too long and often.
Not in a relationship even a 31
At this point I hope god loves me enough and let me live up to 30 more years let alone be in a relationship for 30 years lmao
I have to say cheers to those who were in 20+ years relationship that’s amazing !
I've been in a relationship with myself for 56 years. I'm still not sick of myself.
If I am not for myself, who else should be?
It’s my only relationship! Just over 11 years together and we just celebrated 7 years of marriage.
I am 18 so I'm a rookie but so far just under two years
It's little funny, when I was 9, I was madly in love with a guys who were 10, it was a real love at first sight, the same day, I meet him, I told him that I loved him and he does, so we were dating for five years. We broke up cause I moved to another place and we were young, we couldn't see each other anymore and then I learned that he cheated on me with a girl who had the same first name as me so...
I was in a relationship for 10 years never married, and glad I didn't. She was abusive and god forbid if we had a kid together.
Been there, done that!
My current relationship is 4 years, before that the longest was 2 years, next longest was 1 year, nothing else more than about 2 months.
Four months. I’m really good at falling in love with people who don’t love me.
Same. Everytime
I have some experience in that department myself!
The first one was one year and it ended due to her confessing it was temporary until someone better came along. The second one was nine months she cheated the entire time she had to go too and she would be the last one.
I have been married 27 years. I had a preivious relationship for 4 years.
My current relationship, since 2009. This February, we will celebrate 14 years together 😁
My wife and i will be celebrating 10 years in march.
