I would say to them something like “He might think the same thing about you.”
Also I would never try to look angry, annoyed or upset in front of them.

If you never look upset, annoyed or angry in front of the people who try to insult you it makes them feel like they haven’t succeeded. That’s why it’s good to never look upset, annoyed or angry in front of them.

I would take offence, and put that person in their place. Tell them to fuck-right-off, and that it's disrespectful to YOU for her to make comments like that. What in the world would make that person feel it's alright to make a comment like that to you? Teach them that it's not alright.

What words you choose don't really matter. As long as you make it abundantly clear that:

1. They are totally out-of-line for saying that to you in the first place. It's inapropriate, unacceptable, and not something that's alright to say to someone.

2. In the future, you insist that they keep comments like that to themself.

In short: Make the person regret opening their mouth, and make damn-sure they'll never do it again. Easy. 🙂

Probably laugh. Because why would someone go out of thier way to say that? I had a guy once call a woman I was talking to fat. She was short, but not fat. So I said "be nice". But he kept going. So then I said you're short and stocky what gives right to judge her like a piece of meat, what makes you better than her? So now I'm calling his value into question. So then he says, "I could f*** her if I wanted to". So then I said, "well go ahead and prove it". Of course then he said he didn't want to. So I said you don't need to just get her to agree to it. I know this is juvenile. But I also knew she'd reject him, and he knew it to.
