There are only a handful of women on here that I have interacted with that caught my attention and that I actually like, some older than me, some around my age. End of the day, it would be a low chance.

Nooo... not even if we were supposedly a "good match." Imagine if things don't work out with said person- well now you'll have a bad taste towards the site and not want to use it anymore.

I know several people on here that have dated, and yes, I supposed it's possible- if you're very lucky. However, this is not a dating site people. It's like life: you might meet someone you click with by pure luck or circumstance, but more than likely, GaG isn't an ideal place for anything other than chatting with others that share similarities with you.

I met my wife on GAG. Neither were here for dating, we were here looking for understanding. it's not a dating site.

Personally, I like the idea of dating, with minimal visual input... written, verbal helps establish connection at deeper level without the superficial so much.

Had the opportunity to, but being as cautious as I was on long distance, I let my insecurities and issues stemming from my mother being like a rolling stone get in the way and refused. She kept insisting and I ultimately said something stupid and now she hates me. I wish I just went with it, but my big concern is that you never know who is actually on the other end. Now I'm trying online dating and putting my faith in the honesty of others.

Fairly unlikely, to say the least, even if I was single, which I'm not.

People on here over index for depression, introversion and a number of other things which I personally find unappealing.

I also feel that how somebody comes across online hasn't generally been the best guide to how they actually are, face to face.

So, never say never, but not particularly likely, no.
